Brian Hurst

Brian Hurst is a member of the Dispute Resolution team at Baker & McKenzie in Dallas, where he advises on a broad range of litigation matters. He co-authored "Strategic Considerations When Representing Clients in International Litigation" published in Business Law International and is an active neutral on American Arbitration Association's Dallas Region Large, Complex Case Panel. Mr. Hurst focuses his practice on commercial litigation and arbitration in the areas of medical device distribution, employee raiding and theft of trade secrets, customer/broker-dealer disputes, and executive employment contracts. He has tried over 20 commercial litigation cases to jury verdict and numerous non-jury cases to judgment. Mr. Hurst also has represented national and regional broker-dealers and other parties in dozens of arbitration hearings conducted under the auspices of the American Arbitration Association and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. He also has briefed and argued numerous appeals in federal and Texas state appellate courts, many resulting in published opinions.
