AWAK: Basic seminar on arbitration

This seminar provides prospective arbitrators and contract and litigation practitioners with the theoretical and practical basics of drafting arbitration agreements and conducting arbitration proceedings. It is intended to raise awareness of the implications of the choice of dispute settlement clause in the contract and the possibilities for efficient and cost-effective dispute settlement offered by arbitration, particularly in a purely national context. Renowned arbitration experts convey experiences and tools from arbitration practice. At the end, participants have the opportunity to recreate a procedural management conference at the start of an arbitration as part of a mock arbitration.
