Hello Rules Revision!  The German Arbitration Institute (DIS) revised its arbitration rules for the first time in 20 years. Therefore, the German Dispute Resolution team of Baker McKenzie has started a podcast focusing on the revised rules, which apply to international and domestic arbitrations. The revised rules came into force on 1 March 2018. In this first video Heiko Haller gives a detailed introduction on the main changes users have to be aware of.

Dr. Heiko Haller is a partner at Baker McKenzie in Frankfurt. He concentrates his practice on complex international arbitration proceedings with a special focus on large construction, infrastructure and information technology. The core of his activity form proceedings relating to renewable energies and projects in the nuclear industry (joint ventures; offshore wind farms; construction, requalification and uprates of nuclear power plants) and to IT outsourcing projects. Dr. Haller is co-head of the German-Austrian Dispute Resolution Group. He manages Baker & McKenzie's EMEA International Arbitration Group (sub-group Post-M&A Disputes) as well as the German Cyber Security Team and is responsible for the software-supported management of large disputes ("BakerPro").
