The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators

Are you fit for the Moot? If not, no worries, VIAC and Ciarb will put you through your paces! Moot Camp is a boot camp for Vis Moot Arbitrators. The session will seek to arm arbitrators with the basic tools to better understand the knotty issues raised in this year’s Vis Moot problem as well as highlighting the right questions to pose during the rounds. We will have Christopher Kee, one of the Vis Moot Directors to kick off this unique session. The esteemed panellists will discuss in detail some of the key issues raised by this year’s Vis Moot Problem including No Oral Modification (NOM) clauses, the addition of claims and consolidation of proceedings under the ICC Rules, and fraudulent payments. The panel will share some of the insights of their experience in the pre-moots and the audience will be encouraged to follow suit. We look forward to an informative and interactive session.
