NEW YORK: AUTOMATION AND AI IN ARBITRATION – STATE OF PLAY AND ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS IN THE US AND EUROPE

Discussing the reality, the hype and the concerns when it comes to automation and AI within arbitration, and showcasing the new SCC Platform.

Technical innovations are developing fast in the legal industry. Digitalization of new areas and automatization solutions are becoming more and more common. Addressing the complex intersection of law and technology requires knowledge of law, technology and ethics. This is true of all areas of law, and arbitration is no exception.

This seminar will take you through the reality, the hype and the concerns of automation and AI within arbitration. How far have we come and what are the potential ethical concerns with the development ahead? During this seminar, we will address the topic from both a US and a European point of view. Speakers will present the perspectives of the SCC, a world leading arbitration institute, the leading European legal-tech provider VQ, and the global law firm Debevoise & Plimpton.
