Artificial intelligence will increasingly shape national and international dispute resolution in the future, just like any other area of life. Nonetheless, decisions are still made by human beings based on their personal conviction and considering specific factual and legal situations. Accordingly, predicting their decisions may appear impossible. Yet, technology is evolving faster than ever and more and more service providers advertise their ability to predict outcomes of arbitral decisions. But is this really possible or are these just empty promises? And what would it mean for our legal practice? These and other questions will be discussed at the conference.

The speakers at the conference are:

  • Lisa Beisteiner, Partner, Zeiler Floyd Zadkovich, Vienna
  • Maxi Scherer, Professor at Queen Mary, University of London, and Special Counsel at WilmerHale, London
  • Svenja Wachtel, Digital Coffee Break in Arbitration, Munich
  • Isabel Yishu Yang, Founder & CEO, ArbiLex, Boston
  • Jakob Hübert, Senior Case Manager & Head of Frankfurt Office, Nivalion AG, Frankfurt a.M.
  • Alexander Steinbrecher, Head of Group Corporate, M&A and Legal Affairs, Bombardier Transportation, Berlin and Of Counsel at WAGNER Arbitration, Berlin
